In 2019, the ISF Board of Directors recognized the need for greater transparency in how the ISF funds OSAC and in the decision-making process for funding approval. The ISF Board of Directors voted to change the process for how OSAC receives financial support from the ISF by moving to a more traditional foundation grant application structure.

This formal structure provides transparency on ISF decisions regarding OSAC funding for programs and special projects and ensures much broader oversight of how donations are used to support OSAC.

Examples of OSAC special projects that the ISF has funded:

  • Topical Forums
  • ASIS Reception
  • ASIS Exhibit Booth
  • Consultant Services (Strategic Planning Facilitator, OSAC Communications and Branding Audit)
  • Major Events
  • OSAC Annual Briefing
  • Analytical Training
